Becoming a member of LGSR.org.uk
You or your business must hold an active registration with the Gas Safe Register scheme in order to be eligible to join us.
All members of LGSR.org.uk must be registered with Gas Safe Register and must ensure they hold public liability insurance to complete gas work.
We offer two levels of membership. Businesses must complete a suitability to trade questionairre and will be required to provide evidence of their registration and insurance. All businesses will be validated to ensure they are suitably placed to adhere to our policies. Businesses may be made up of sole traders, partnerships or limited liability. Public liability companies are not yet able to access our services.
Any individual who holds ACS and is registered with the GSR under a business may register to access our technical team and have access to our support services in order to improve their own gas safety knowledge and help reduce their own exposure to liability.
All members must adhere to a strict code of practice which is designed to help raise practical safety standards within the gas industry.
Membership fees are payable and an audit of your business will be conducted prior to your entry onto the scheme. Membership is subject to mandatory inspections and ongoing auditing for compliancy. Failure to adhere to our standards may invalidate your membership. We provide in-depth support and guidance to help maintain compliancy.
When a member is unable to satisfy our requirements, then we will provide advice and guidance on getting registered and maintaining your registration to ensure you remain at the top of the safety and compliancy game.
